I’ve been going by this place for about a year and a half now and never really thought much about it. Today I woke up was in the mood for pancakes and I really haven’t found a good pancake place out here by me so therefore I thought I would try some more different. I drove around for about 20 minutes Looking at different places. Somewhere closed somewhere crowded so I stayed decided on Stateline café when I drove by. Very warm atmosphere, plenty of room for seating and great service and food What I like about it it’s locally owned and it’s a mom place. Decorated warmly and plenty of effort. Put into it for the holidays. The service was very good no disappointment at all The food was very good. I ordered this cinnamon roll as an appetizer, lol, for breakfast. It was as big as my hand and delicious. Fully a meal in itself. If you’re coming with another person or a group before, it would be plenty for all you. Like I said, I was on a search for fluffy pancakes and I actually found it. Order pancakes and bacon pancakes were delicious perfectly tasting perfect perfectly fluffy. Not far off the expressway if you’re going to Chicago, we’re going to Madison and hungry for breakfast. Probably be a five minute drive out of the way, but fully worth it. Highly suggested

I can honestly say. I was glad that I was oblivious to the time that they close, which is at 2 PM. It was about 135 when I walked in. I was seated given the menu and I was welcome with the smile. They didn't shoo me away. Which I would have left gladly, I understand when you're closing, you know, you want to get out of there. Get home, I get it. But no, they Welcome me with open arms. So that was cool. Check out the menu. It was extensive things, a lot of good stuff on that menu. Maybe I haven't tried them all yet. But it's definitely a place that would go back to for the food to cook. I tell you, put some quality time into its cooking. Everything was fresh presentable, good plating. I had the Chicken Fried steak, and I had to tell you it was one of the best I ever had. The gravy was perfect. Diced potatoes, which was perfect golden, not overcooked. It was, I was impressed . The eggs is perfect, not overcooked, no browning on them. I give kudos, for doing a job well done the coffee was a little weak, but again, that was because they had to make a first part. And he kind of made it a little weak, because once again, I was clueless that they closed Ed 2, so they're in their cleanup phase, because I'm maybe they don't get customers around that time. So they were focused on prepping for the next day, and they even said that the coffee may be a little Weak,i don't like weak coffee, but I drank my coffee with a little flavored cream and sugar setback and checked out the place. The waitress took my order with the smile, I made some recommendations and I was happy. Yeah. The owner of the place came over to warm up my coffee which I didn't know. She was the owner to say, hello, we chatted for a little bit. She told me she's been there for 2 years now. It's kind of like a family restaurant cause everybody knows each other there, very polite. The food blew my mind. I was very pleased that I stopped so if you hop off i90 heading towards bullet college, if you see them on your right hand side, come in hungry, leave full and happy. If you don't want leftovers, be care for what you order. That's all I'll say, but if you do want leftovers. yes, please. Here are some photos I took enjoy.
